ADHD Workshop For Parents and Caregivers

This workshop for parents teaches how to treat children ages 3 to 13 years old diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The techniques presented are designed to be effective without the use of medications or supplements. Significant improvement should be noticed at home and at school within two to three weeks. The workshop teaches you all you need to know and provides all the materials you need to benefit from this program. You are not obligated to purchase any further services or products. The cognitive behavioral techniques presented at this workshop have been researched and found effective for children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD and ADHD). The workshop is for adults only.

Who should attend:

Parents, caretakers and grandparents of children who display symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

These techniques are designed to improve all ADHD symptoms to at least a 90 % improvement level or better within two weeks after the techniques are implemented.

The program does not rely on medication nor supplements to be effective.

The workshop teaches what these techniques are and how to use them.

The workshop also teaches common mistakes that parents and professionals do when attempting to treat ADHD.

It is estimated that 80 % of the children will generalize the improved behavior to the school setting while only 20 % will not.

The workshop tells how to get the behaviors to generalize at school. The goal will be to have good conduct, good behavior and good grades at school within a few days after starting the school intervention for the children who do not generalize their behaviors to the school.

These techniques are not recommended for children diagnosed with Autism, Aspergers Syndrom, Mentally Retardation and children whose only problem in school is due to a Reading Disorder (e.g., dyslexia, developmental vision problem). Children with ADHD and learning disorders can benefit from ths program but will need other intervention as well.

The workshop provides all of the information necessary to perform these techniques with children with ADHD symptoms. There is nothing more to purchase. You will not need medications or nutritional supplements to have this program be effective.

Much of the information presented in the workshop will be from Dr. David B. Stein's book Ritalin is Not the Answer. Dr. Moore has developed additional techniques that fit within Dr. Stein's model of intervention. These techniques will also be taught at the workshop.
